How to Download Multiple Videos from One X/Twitter Post

Download each video from the post

   Copy the complete post URL

   Open the public post, choose Share, and copy its post link. Keep the original status URL so the parser can identify the post and its media relationships.

   Parse the post once

   Paste the URL into the tool on this page and select Find MP4 options. One request is enough for DownXVideo to return the supported media items it can identify.

   Review each video group

   Results are separated by media item. When available, labels distinguish media on the current post from media associated with a quoted or reposted source post.

   Choose the quality for Video 1

   Select one of the MP4 resolutions listed under the first video. Download starts through DownXVideo when eligible; otherwise the source MP4 opens for your browser to save.

   Repeat for the remaining videos

   Return to the same result and choose a quality under Video 2, Video 3, and any other displayed group. Each click handles one file, which keeps the choice and browser status clear.

   Check every saved file

   Use your browser download list or device file manager to confirm that each MP4 completed. Media and temporary download URLs can expire, so parse the original post again if an older result no longer works.

How DownXVideo separates media items

The parser returns media as groups rather than flattening every MP4 into one undifferentiated list. Each group has a media position and its own available variants. The page uses that information to show Video 1, Video 2, and later items separately.

A group can also carry a relationship such as current post, quoted post, or reposted source. When that relationship and source URL are available, the result labels them so you can open the source post and verify context. The label describes where the parser associated the media; it does not grant permission to save or reuse it.

Why each video has its own quality choices

Two videos in one post can have different dimensions, bitrates, file sizes, and available source variants. DownXVideo therefore keeps quality selection inside each video group. Choosing 720p for Video 1 does not imply that Video 2 has the same option.

If a media item has no supported direct MP4, usable variants from another item may still appear. If the post has no supported MP4 at all, the parser returns NO_MEDIA_FOUND or a processing-related state instead of inventing a download.

Why there is no Download all action

“All” can be unclear when one result includes current-post media, quoted media, several qualities, or a file that must open directly. An individual action makes the source, media item, quality, and browser behavior explicit before each file starts.

This also preserves the product boundary. DownXVideo handles a specific public post selected by the user; it does not crawl every post from an account, timeline, bookmark collection, list, or infinite-scroll page.

Use the desktop extension for repeated one-video actions

On supported desktop browsers, the DownXVideo extension adds a separate action to each recognized X/Twitter video. It scans the visible page locally and starts parsing the selected public post only after you click a video action. Its normal path uses public X endpoints in the browser and sends the chosen source MP4 to the browser download manager.

If both local parser paths fail for a technical reason, the extension can offer a website continuation. The public post URL is sent to DownXVideo only after you explicitly choose that fallback. The extension does not add Download all, read private posts, use X cookies, or upload the video to DownXVideo.

If one of the downloads fails

• Check which video group and quality you selected; do not assume the first and second files share a source URL.
• If an MP4 opens in a tab, use the browser’s save action rather than parsing the entire post repeatedly.
• If an old result expired, parse the original public post again to refresh all available media links.
• If the post becomes private, deleted, or restricted, neither the website nor extension can bypass that change.
• If the parser returns no supported media, use the troubleshooting guide to interpret the visible code.
