An unmarked size is measured when available, a size with a tilde is estimated, and no size means the value could not be confirmed. Unknown does not mean zero or unlimited.

“Best available” is not a promise of 1080p or 4K
DownXVideo sorts and displays the supported MP4 variants it can obtain for the public post. If 1080p or 4K is not listed for that video, the tool does not have that source option to offer.
The tool does not upscale a smaller file, transcode it to a new resolution, merge separate streams, or infer a missing master upload. “Best available” means the strongest listed source variant in this result, not a guaranteed platform-wide resolution.
Compare portrait and landscape video correctly
Pixel dimensions are shown as width × height. A landscape option might have a larger width, while a portrait option has a larger height. Compare variants within the same Video group and account for orientation instead of comparing one number across unrelated videos.
For example, two options can both receive a broad HD label while having different exact dimensions. The label is useful for scanning; the dimensions identify the actual frame size returned for that option.
Balance detail, storage, and transfer time
- Editing, archiving, or large-screen viewing: start with the largest dimensions listed when preserving available detail matters.
- Messaging or limited storage: a smaller source variant can be more practical.
- Metered or slow connection: use known or estimated size information as a guide, while remembering that estimates can differ from the final file.
- Unknown size: do not assume the file is small. The browser may use a direct source MP4 path, and the transfer can still be large.
Selecting a smaller variant is a choice among source files. DownXVideo does not recompress a larger download in your browser.

Which option is the best available quality?
For the same video, it is generally the option with the largest source dimensions shown. Choose a smaller variant when file size or transfer time matters more than maximum detail.
Why is there no 1080p or 4K option?
The public post did not expose that supported MP4 variant to the parser. DownXVideo does not upscale or create a missing resolution.
Does HD always mean 1080p?
No. Read the displayed pixel dimensions or resolution for the exact option. A broad quality label is not a promise of a particular 1080p frame size.
Why is the file size estimated or missing?
A size can be estimated from available media information or remain unknown when it cannot be measured reliably. DownXVideo marks estimates and does not invent a number for an unknown file.
Does Open MP4 have lower quality than Download?
No. Those labels describe how the selected file is delivered or opened. Quality comes from the chosen source variant, not from whether the browser uses a same-site download or direct-source tab.
